The Marche region offers plenty of choice in terms of places to visit. The Marche countryside is dotted with medieval towns perched on the hills.
In the vicinity of the Feudo dei Cipressi, the towns of S.Ginesio, Urbisaglia, Tolentino, Sarnano, Caldarola, Camerino and Fermo are certainly not to be missed, but even the smallest villages such as Loro Piceno, preserve - within their city walls - the charm of history along the narrow streets, lined by old houses.
All the chief towns of Marche region are worth a visit, from Ascoli to Urbino, jewels of Italian architecture, from Ancona to Macerata with their historic centres and monuments.
However, there are other historical centres of great beauty such as Loreto, Recanati, Osimo, Fabriano, Corinaldo, Cagli , Cingoli, Jesi... etc..
A few kilometers away from the Country House, there are the Cistercian Abbey of Fiastra in the homonymous nature reserve and the important Roman archaeological site of Urbisaglia with a perfectly preserved amphitheatre.

The estate is surrounded by the countryside and therefore there is freedom to go walking and cycling.
2 km away there is a riding school.
The Fiastra Abbey nature reserve- 5 km away - offers the opportunity to wander in the woods on foot, by bicycle and by horse.
The nearest ski runs are located in the Monti Sibillini National Park, in Sarnano (25 km) where you can also find modern sports facilities (swimming pools, etc..) And above all there are the famous thermal baths. The park offers a multitude of excursions on foot or by horse at varying levels of difficulty.
There is also the possibility to practice sports such as hiking, trekking with mules, mountain biking, rafting, paragliding...etc..

The landscape of Marche region is one of the most varied in Italy, because you go from the sea to the mountains within a band of about 70 km, crossing the rolling hills largely cultivated with wheat and sunflowers.
Along the coast you can find sandy beaches typical of the Adriatic coast, but along the Conero Riviera, in the homonymous regional park, there are steep slopes that form white pebble bays.
Located 25 km away from the Country House, there is the area of the Monti Sibillini National Park, with its mountains, rivers, gorges and historic villages.
The Feudo dei Cipressi is located in the middle of the typical agricultural landscape of Marche region, immersed in a grove of laurels, cypresses and olive trees, surrounded by fields of wheat, sunflowers and sugar beet.
Nearby there are various fortresses and castles, very common buildings in this region. Other highlights include the caves of Frasassi, in the territory of Genga (Ancona).
The nearest sea is that of Civitanova Marche, a well-equipped tourist centre, which offers the possibility to practice all types of water sports: sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing etc.. You absolutely can’t miss a day of sun and sea along the coast of Conero, where - among Numana, Sirolo and Portonovo - you can admire the beautiful scenery overlooking the crystalline sea.

Marche region offers a multitude of flavours, with culinary traditions that vary according to the landscape; as you approach the Apennines from the coast, the aroma of fish gives way to the smell of mushrooms and truffles.
Among the true D.O.C wines you can choose from: Lacrima di Morro, Rosso Piceno and Conero, Bianco dei Colli Maceratesi and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi e di Matelica.
Cooked wine is typical of Loro Piceno: there is even a festival dedicated to it in August.
